17 Things That Make Me Happy

Here are a few things that make me happy…

  1. The newly released "Remedy" from David Crowder Band.
  2. When Emily makes me go play golf with my son–who now owns his first set of clubs.
  3. Winning another fantasy football game. (Who looks like a genius for drafting Romo now?)
  4. The smell of the NewSpring atrium now that the Awake coffee shop is open.
  5. Finding out that I’m going to Catalyst after all.
  6. Yard work…in moderation.
  7. The new Sunday evening service times beginning this weekend at 5:00 (feeding your kids) and 6:45 (more music/more college students).
  8. Learning that Rob Wegner is finally blogging.
  9. Watching Clemson’s Jacoby Ford in this media from this past weekend’s service.
  10. Discovering that iTunes has some competition…from Amazon.
  11. Our new king-size bed. (There’s so much room!)
  12. The fact that Em and I will soon see new episodes of this show and this show.
  13. When Paul delivers freshly brewed decaf coffee to my office mid-afternoon.
  14. Spending time in downtown Greenville.
  15. Watching Abby play soccer.
  16. Doing secret ops for Perry in preparation for something fun in his future. (I’m really proud of him.)
  17. Planning my next trip to the beach.

    Great list, Tony. Although I would have added naps, surprisingly short sermons, refund checks, and JLo…but that’s just me.

    What about the Office? How can you not be a fan…

    I am also finishing a beach trip with a side visit to New Spring for the first time…I am sure it is worth the time.

    11. Grey’s Anatomy! I have three small children (3,2,1) and the only time it’s completely quiet in my house is when Grey’s Anatomy is on!!
