ParentsAreClueless.com

Perry let the cat out of the bag today. We’re starting the first-ever parenting series at NewSpring on October 21.
To help fuel the conversation, we’ve also launched a new website–ParentsAreClueless.com. It’s a confessional site for both parent and kids. Scroll down and read some of the anonymous comments that both have been sharing. My sense is parents and students are craving biblical insights on this topic.
For those of you who are out of town, the rotating pictures at the top of the Clueless website are replicas of the six billboards we’ve placed around Anderson. The billboards also include the web address.
So, what do you think? Are parents clueless?

I have to tell you I went and read the kids comments and I was completely blown away. They certainly have a lot to say. This is a brilliant idea.
Speaking as a parent, I am clueless…most of the time (and I have a relationship with Jesus). Although, I’m not in Anderson I can’t wait to catch clips of the messages.
Tony,
What incredible insight is being shared on the “Clueless” site! I literally wept with alternate joy and pain as I read the diverse input from both parents and children.
I have every confidence that God will use this exchange of information to spur the awesome message and teaching we receive every week at NewSpring. God is indeed working in our church and I thank Him every day that our church staff listens to Him and follows His guidance in crafting relevant and timely messages which encourage scripture based answers for all who seek Him.
Thanks for the original idea and opportunity to take in the challenges and successes facing both parents and children today.

Hey Tony -
I’m curious if you know who designed this site for you guy – if it was something that you outsourced?
we’re looking at doing something similar as a way to write a note of thanks to our senior pastor of 35 years who’s retiring, and I’m looking for someone to design a simple website that’s essentially the same thing that you guys did with this.
thanks for the help!
Mike
Mike, the person you need to connect with is Nathan, one of our super-volunteers at NewSpring.
