Hot-Lanta?
I’m here in Atlanta today with the family. They’re along with me while I hang out with Michael Lukaszewski and the Oak Leaf Church team for a couple of days. Michael invited me to offer an outsiders perspective on what’s happening in their ministry. I’ll share my learnings in the next couple of days.
What surprised us most about today, though, was the cool temperatures. I’m guessing it was in the lower 70s. The sun was out, but there was a cool breeze. Made me wish I had more than shorts and a t-shirt on. It was a beautiful drive down to Atlanta, though. The leaves are just starting to turn colors, so the drive was very enjoyable.
Before meeting up with Michael, we went downtown and walked through Centennial Park, ate at the food court in the CNN building and visited the new World of Coca Cola. I think the kids drank enough "free" cokes to keep them wired for hours.
I’ll keep you posted on the rest of our adventure. Oh, by the way, Clemson is winning at half time!

Missed you at WFX. I went to Atlanta last week and listened to the news talk about the horrible drought. But it rained almost every day!
Have fun.
hope you tried the bitter coke for like South America…that’s some gross stuff…then again, there ain’t nothin like some fruity FANTA!
The leaves change colors on palm trees? :)
