Get Your Strategy On
Wow! I truly forgot what it was like to have a fast Internet connection. Thanks to my blogging friends, I found the magic words to ask for a DSL line from AT&T without having to purchase a landline. The free DSL wireless modem arrived via UPS earlier today. I was up and running this evening. The 3meg service from AT&T is far faster than the 5meg service through my cable company. The new service is also about $10 cheaper per month. More importantly, Emily thinks I’m the king of technology because I hooked her up with a faster, more reliable connection. Even her MacBook is screaming fast again.
Just wanted to thank all my peeps in blog world for pointing me in the right direction. Now, I need to figure out how to get DirecTV to be more responsive so I can drop cable TV. It looks like I can save about $30 per month on TV and end up with 6 times more HD channels. Makes me wonder how the cable companies are going to stay in business.

It’s called a dry loop…at least that’s what Verizon calls it in Illinois…we went to it when we ditched our land line and love it!
