New Look

I got tired of the old blog look. This morning I decided to start fresh. For those of you following through a feed reader, you’ll have to visit the site and provide your reaction. Few things to keep in mind…

  • Yes, it’s a TypePad template.
  • I tried to clean up the clutter. Some of the content in the previous sidebars (like links to other sites) have been moved to a separate page.
  • I changed to two columns to create more space for the content.
  • I did it myself…which proves how easy it is to use TypePad.

I tried to simplify things. That’s refreshing to me. Hopefully it is for you as well.

Nice job. I think you have a bit of designer in you. (Don’t get carried away, my friend…I said a bit.)

Crisp and clean like a freshly starched shirt. New is good. Just don’t put on your safety belt and wrinkle it all up.

Actually, I prefer the old one. Just my opinion. This one is sterile, like a hospital. Not quite as inviting.

You know I’m gonna say it… get rid of the ads. I’m not giving up the campaign… :)

    Like your asterick thing…

Kem/Tim, I’m not rolling in the dough like you two. The ads help pay the bills around here. Readership has continued to climb since ads were added about two years ago. The additional income helps pay for the site. But, you’re right, my site will never be as pretty as yours.
