Here are a few random tidbits from my world:

  • Grown men. Participating in a beard growing contest for four months. Then taking pictures of their faces and posting them on a website. Believe it or not, I have friends participating in Whiskerino 2007.
  • First there was Netscape. Then there was Explorer. Then I shifted to FireFox. And, now the question everyone is asking: Have you started Flocking? (Thanks, Dennis.)
  • Clemson is #20 with a shot at winning their ACC division. Things could get interesting.
  • In case you’re curious, I used the “new page” function in TypePad to move content off the main page sidebars of my site. That same function also created an opportunity to improve the Google search function. Now you can search the web or my blog without having to leave the site. Try it out.
  • Paul let the cat out of the bag. Everyone who attended our All Access event a couple of of weeks ago at NewSpring ended up attending for free. Yes, our team wants to do everything we can to encourage more healthy, growing churches.
  • I’m off to San Diego this week to speak at the National Outreach Convention. Don’t be surprised if I have some “deep thoughts” to share from this trip.
  • The Indianapolis Colts are playing the San Diego Chargers in San Diego next Sunday night. Looks like the game is sold out. If you know how we can get a couple of tickets, I’ll be your friend.

UPDATE: My buddy, Brad, hooked us up. He has friends that have friends. By the way, the last time I was at an NFL game, I was playing the baritone for the marching band at halftime. I probably shouldn’t admit stuff like that…
