Shoveling Leaves, GenY, Messing Up Kids and Twittering

Very random thoughts and questions for you to peruse…

  • The whole family jumped in to help with the leaves this morning. We had the gas blower and the rakes going. I turned around at one point, though, and found Jacob shoveling the leaves with the snow shovel. I guess that’s an indication that your kid grew up in Indiana.
  • We gathered at NewSpring last night to celebrate and thank all the volunteers. It was a lot of fun. Great music. Lots of laughter. Vision thoughts from Perry. Loved it!
  • My next book project is getting closer to coming to fruition. More details soon.
  • Loved this idea from Mark: "Which series would be most helpful to your spiritual development?"
  • Xbox 360 or PS3?
  • Interesting post on the differences between Generation X and Generation Y. The younger folks are less cynical and more team-oriented. That’s a good reason to hire twenty-somethings.
  • Touchdown Tigers!
  • Is this what globalization looks like in the church? NewSong has a campus in Bangkok and a ministry presence in London and Mexico City. Learn more here.
  • Rob offers five ways to mess up your kid.
  • I started twittering. I’m not committed…yet.

Go Xbox 360. Games are one of the few hobbies I have and I’ve owned almost every system ever released. I have never had more fun than I do with the 360.

Without a doubt, an Xbox 360. Then we can play LIVE together … now’s a great time to buy – see my blog how to get Halo 3 for free and there’s a ton of games rated 9+ – it is unreal.

Eh, I can’t get into Twitter either. To me it requires to much work.

I thought I was alone in this world :)

    You are on twitter?

my username is tonysteward – friend me!

(I have found twitter to be an incredibly useful resource – especially as it becomes a “stream of conscience” of people I want to ebe connected with.)
