I respect and admire Bowden for his willingness to make his faith public and out front, but that is a lot of pressure to put on a young man. Many will go because they feel they have to in order to stay in good stead with their coach. I would like for him to post a sign up sheet and tell his players that if anyone wants to go they are welcome. His way involves coercion to a degree. That can produce resentment.
