In case you’re curious…

  • Got to hang out with the guys from Fellowship Technologies yesterday. We use their solution, FellowshipOne, to track ministry connections (like volunteers, home groups and children’s ministry check-in) at NewSpring. One of the big reasons we wanted to visit with them yesterday is to figure out how we need to prepare our technology for our Greenville campus launch.
  • I’m heading down south a couple of hours tomorrow to golf. December golf. I love it. And, we’ll be close to Augusta, so I’m hoping my game will be inspired tomorrow.
  • Both our cars jumped over 100,000 miles last week. We love our cars. The best part about them…they’re ours. No car payments. That’s a financial goal that Em and I have committed to for the last several years. It makes decisions about buying new cars a lot easier. That’s not an option for us.
  • Our family went out and got the first live Christmas tree we’ve had in about five years. It’s just weird. We have a tree in our house. Don’t you think that’s weird?
  • My assistant, Jennifer, has been sending me daily updates on the Christmas service tickets. We have two weekends left before Christmas, so there’s plenty of time to get your tickets. But, you might want to do that soon if you have a specific service time that you’d like to attend.
