Caddies, Fantasies, Rumors and Manly Devotional Books

Here’s what’s been happening the last few days in my life…

  • For only the second time in my life, I golfed with a caddy on Friday. That’s the way golf should be played.
  • The weather has been amazing. Close to 80 the next couple of days. I love winter in Anderson!
  • I’m counting down the days until Joshua starts. Can’t wait to have him on the team.
  • Jacob and I have made our fantasy football league playoffs for the second year in a row. Go Romo!
  • Perry has rocked these first two messages in the "Stripped" series. You can tell these topics are right in his zone.
  • This week, Perry goes into the studio to prepare something fun for our Christmas services. Ken is involved. It’s going to be incredible. You don’t want to miss it. Get your free tickets here.
  • Just ordered a few books to take to the beach after Christmas. I’m craving that time.
  • Em and I roamed the bookstore the other night. We stopped to scan the "Devotional" section. Apparently, publishers don’t intend for men to purchase devotional books. There’s absolutely nothing targeting guys.
  • I keep hearing rumors that Starbucks is on it’s way to Anderson. I’m adding that to my prayer list for 2008. I think it’s God’s will for us to have Starbucks.

Tony, check out this divo. I tried it and I like it. Seems “Manly” so far.

It’s Reflections of a Ragamuffin by Brennan Manning.

Just a thought.. maybe you should write one. I hope you tipped the caddy. Although it does go as noted that you did not mention your score….

-Starbucks- has officially made it’s way to CLEMSON— Spring semester should be up and rolling @ there new location… (On the corner of College and HWY 123)

*if you’re lucky… i might hook you up one morning on the way to work*…. but you have to keep it on the low— i can see this getting really expensive if word gets out @ NS that i’m making Starbuck’s runs….

    One Love,
