"Decisions of the kind the executive has to make are not made well by
acclamation. They are made well only if based on the
clash of conflicting views, the dialogue between different points of

decision-making is that one does not make a decision unless there is
disagreement."

Tony,
That is a great quote, even though I had to read it three times before I understood it!

There was no one like Peter Drucker! What a true truth that executive decisions “are not made well by acclamation.” That’s how it is, isn’t it? Not always easy. Never majority rules.
One of the best book investments I ever made was The Daily Drucker. Gives you a page a day with a gem like this one embedded. Totally kept my synapses snapping and me posting for a year.
P.S. Love the new smilin’ Tony but the hair almost looks like there’s a part! I’m worried that South Carolina might be changing you!

After reading that quote, I feel like I need to go back to college. I, too, had to read it three times before it began to sink in … Therefore, Peter Drucker MUST be a genius!
