“Out of This World” Christmas at NewSpring

Howardtheelf
Without giving all the secrets away, here are some highlights from the Christmas services at NewSpring:

  • It rained (thank you) this morning, but that didn’t dampen the Christmas festivities.
  • There were lots of elves driving golf carts to give people rides from their cars to the building entrances.
  • Folks enjoyed the "elf-cam" before the service.
  • Free hot chocolate. Free whipped topping.
  • Piano music in the atrium by the biggest Christmas tree in Anderson.
  • Children’s ministry was in full swing. Fun stories of first-time kids who didn’t want to leave.
  • The music was phenomenal. "Love Found Me" rocked.
  • Video elements throughout the services added to both the message and the music.
  • Perry talked about Jesus, presented the Gospel and clearly communicated how much we matter to God.
  • Lots of people showed up. We’ve never experienced anything like this at NewSpring. (I’ll let Perry share those details after tomorrow.)
  • We still have two more services to go tomorrow (Monday, December 24 @ 2:00 and 4:00 pm) with room for you and your friends to attend.
  • I took several pictures, but this one was my favorite. Here’s Howard, our Greenville campus pastor fulfilling the "other duties as assigned" part of his job description.

If I didn’t see you today, I hope to see you tomorrow. Merry Christmas!

The new projectors looked incredible today! I honestly didn’t think there would be a big difference but you could instantly tell there was a huge difference from the old ones. The NewSpring experience just keeps getting better and better.
