Online voting is a very cool thing. Estonia, the country I am serving in at a new local church, was the first country with online voting. All made posibble with a national ID card with a smart chip and a pin code. Hook up a card reader to your PC or Mac and your able to vote. The next election with feature mobile voting. The government here is very progressive and with a small country of 1.4 million its easy to make changes. Not sure how it will all work, but the internet voting was popular for the 18-35 group, which is often the group that doesn't vote at all.

Brett, you commented on another post:

"How was the attendance at NewSpring today? Any car accidents? Also- did you or Pastor Perry recieve any feedback from your posts on having church in inclement weather?"

Attendance was down a little at the first service, but we filled the auditorium the second service. Evening services are in progress. I'm guessing we'll end up around 7,000 this weekend. If so, that's down about 1,400 from our average. Hard to say how much of that was weather and how much was the holiday weekend and good football on TV. Oh, and no accidents that I'm aware of. Guess all the bad drivers stayed home.

You just think so 'cos you haven't seen my son! Is your son 6'3", 240lbs of muscle, with a 32" vertical, and a super athlete? If you can't answer yes, then I know my son can take your son on the court. Come to think of it, I can probably take you on the court too. Let's set it up.:)

I'm with you Tony, we never close! The news did a special last year during a blizzard when we were open.... There was a guy who saw that we were open on the news, drove to our campus and committed his life to Christ...

It's all good, many people are just scared off by the crazy weather.

I have to disagree with you. SEC basketball rules! Good luck with Duke. My Kentucky Wildcats are playing Florida, tonight.

Several years ago (while I was pastoring in Georgia) a large asteroid came perilously close to the earth (within a million and a half miles). My first clue that something was up was the shelves at Piggly Wiggly devoid of milk and toilet paper!
