Field Trip to Greenville Campus

Pic0362_2 It’s been a fun day. This morning, all the folks on my strategic services team headed up to Greenville to visit the new campus. They’re moving along very quickly. Demolition has almost been completed. They’re just about ready to begin putting up the interior walls. I can’t tell you how cool it is to be in that space and dream and pray about what might happen in the future.

Howard, our Greenville campus pastor, showed us around and helped us understand where all the future environments will be located. Those include the atrium with a cafe and bookstore, children’s space and the 1,100-seat auditorium. There’s also a 6,000 square foot office space connected to the facility that provides space for our Greenville staff and volunteers.

I took a handful of camera phone pictures of our visit. Some of them are better than others. Hopefully it’ll give you a taste of our experience.

    Tony,

Since I’ve started to follow yours and Perry’s blogs, I’ve been blown away by what God is doing in the life of your church, and by how you guys seem to take it all in stride and remain authentic. It’s truly an admirable quality and I pray that your church will continue to lead the way in innovation, creativity and caring for people.

Tony – can you remind us what this building used to be used for?

It’s going to be the Greenville campus of NewSpring Church. Everything that happens in Anderson will now be offered in two locations.

I am so pumped up about how the Kingdom of God is expanding through real life-giving churches such as NewSpring, that is pretty freakin cool. I’m looking forward to more updates and thanks for sharing the pics this is very exciting for me and I don’t even attend NewSpring I can’t even imagine how stoked you guys are. I’ll be praying for the team, keep taking ground. You guys rock.
