Big Day for Clemson Football

Bowden
As a courtesy to any South Carolina Gamecock fans that follow the blog, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of yesterday’s news regarding college football signing day. ESPN is reporting that Clemson has this year’s #2 ranked recruiting class. That includes signing ESPN’s #1 ranked prospect, defensive end DaQuan Bowers out of Bamberg, SC. Bowden is stacking up quite a bit of talent to make a run at the national championship.

Speaking of running, Clemson’s running back, C.J. Spiller, recently ran the 60m dash in 6.58 seconds. That’s the fastest time posted by any sprinter in the country so far this year. I think it’s pretty cool to know the fastest man in the country is a NewSpringer.

Ah, I’m glad to see that UGA is still in the running – could be a POWERFUL year for Georgia .. and heck, I’ll pull for Clemson forever as long as they are rivals to South Carolina, and especially to Spurrier!

BTW – WISH we were coming to Unleash ..we’re pretty much on staff lockdown as we are preparing the big transition/move into our new facility. It’s almost ready!

    For the Kingdom,
    Fred McKinnon

All this, yet no mention to the trouncing the UNC Tarheels took last night from Duke.

Smile…there’s still one more game this season to get back at us. And I’m sure Tyler Hansboro will have a better game…

Clemson, like the ACC, is a powderpuff in the big picture. Enjoy the Peach Bowl!!!!

I would think that Clemson might want to consider winning an A Sissy Sissy (ACC) championship before thinking about national aspirations. :)

And who was the #1 recruiting class? Lets see…Yes – that would be Alabama! Roll Tide Roll. Thank you very much. We love St. Nick!
