Unleash Close to Selling Out

Unleash
Last January, I sat in a conference room with the other guys from our senior management team at NewSpring and we talked about what we’d have to do to eventually see 1,500 people attend the Unleash Conference. This was before last year’s conference. We’d never done a conference before. In fact, at the time we were meeting and talking about future goals, there were only 52 people registered for our first Unleash Conference. In others words, to see 1,500 seemed almost unrealistic.

Well, yesterday on my way home from Phoenix, I received an email update from Lindsay. We now have over 1,500 people coming to Unleash. That’s unfreakingbelievable! We still have four weeks until the big event.

Here’s the situation. In addition to those who are registering for the conference, we need to save room for our NewSpring staff and the volunteers that will be serving. With that in mind, we are going to have to cap registrations. We’re still trying to finalize that number, but it looks like we’ll have to cut off registrations at 2,000 people. At the pace we’re going, that may happen in the next several days. I strongly recommend that you register as soon as possible so that we can guarantee your team’s spot at this year’s event.

Next year will be a whole new ballgame. We’ll have additional facility space to accommodate a larger crowd. We also have a few other tricks up our sleeve that will increase our capacity to host this event. But that’s next year. If you want to join us for Unleash 2008, you need to act quickly.
