C3 2008 | Ed Young Encore

Ed’s continued the conversation about betrayal in his second session. Here’s some of what he shared…

  • “You talk to anyone who is a betrayer, and eventually they will have a famine of the soul.”
  • “What do you do when your enemy is served up to you?”
  • Ed changed clothes before this session. I’m still wearing the same outfit.
  • “A lot of us are leashed up to unforgiveness.”
  • “You don’t have to like someone to forgive them.”
  • There are people painting pictures on the stage. Dragonfly. Hand reaching out. A white bird. And something else.
  • Ed shared the story of a staff member who betrayed him by lying about a multi-million dollar contribution to the church.
  • That act of betrayal ended up being one of the greatest things in the history of Fellowship Church.
  • “I thank the Lord I married a ladder.”
  • “God takes you through difficult time to break you down and lead to breakthrough.”
  • “Put the power of the church in the people who are called rather than the people who attend.”
  • “Betrayal is the elephant in the room that we need to talk about and embrace.”

Hey Tony – we are enjoying C3 too! We are fired up for Perry later on. How about you let us kind folks from GracePoint in Wichita, KS. take you out dinner tonight – or maybe lunch tomorrow?
