Ed’s continued the conversation about betrayal in his second session. Here’s some of what he shared…
- “You talk to anyone who is a betrayer, and eventually they will have a famine of the soul.”
- “What do you do when your enemy is served up to you?”
- Ed changed clothes before this session. I’m still wearing the same outfit.
- “A lot of us are leashed up to unforgiveness.”
- “You don’t have to like someone to forgive them.”
- There are people painting pictures on the stage. Dragonfly. Hand reaching out. A white bird. And something else.
- Ed shared the story of a staff member who betrayed him by lying about a multi-million dollar contribution to the church.
- That act of betrayal ended up being one of the greatest things in the history of Fellowship Church.
- “I thank the Lord I married a ladder.”
- “God takes you through difficult time to break you down and lead to breakthrough.”
- “Put the power of the church in the people who are called rather than the people who attend.”
- “Betrayal is the elephant in the room that we need to talk about and embrace.”
