My Favorite Banner So Far

Well, the blog banners keep coming. Today’s submission is from Jim Henry, the Creative Worship Pastor at Vale Community Church in Bloomington, Illinois. His wife, Christine, also has a blog where, among other things, you’ll find that she likes "tuna fish/oreo cookie sandwiches." I’m not sure if that means she eats her tuna and her Oreos separately or in the same sandwich. Either way, that can’t be good.

I don’t know that it’s really fair to the rest of the blog banner contest contestants, but I think this is my favorite, non-humorous entry so far. Good work, Jim! Though your wife’s eating habits seem a little odd, it’s good to know the rest of your life is close to Normal.

    Nothing is normal when you live next to normal. As far the tuna/oreo thing, don’t know what to say-gotta have some sorta quirk.

    Very professional looking banner, it’s quite well done. Your photo looks like you are looking and smiling at someone to your side, your wife perhaps? I’ll take the ‘work from home’ days too–reading your tweets–I see you’re following Jason Powell or is he following you? I know Jason from the CITRT chat room.

    Sandwiches…make mine a Peanut Butter and Banana on whole wheat please—Not toasted or grilled or Fried ala Elvis..I don’t need the grease..
