In between being a husband and father and pastor and boss and conference speaker and blogger, I’ve been working hard on my fourth book. The deadline for the Killing Cockroaches manuscript is still a few months away, but I’m making great progress. I’m about 70 percent complete.
The deeper I get into the project, the more stoked I am about how it’s developing. One of the things that has me most excited is the response I’m getting from friends in ministry and blog world that have agreed to have their thoughts included in the book. The current list includes:
- Phil Cooke — Hollywood producer (including two Super Bowl 2008 commercials) and author of Branding Faith
- Steven Furtick — lead pastor of Elevation Church in Charlotte
- Dave Gibbons — lead pastor of NewSong Church with campuses in SoCal and Bangkok
- Seth Godin — blogger, speaker and author of bestselling marketing books like Meatball Sundae.
- Troy Gramling — lead pastor of Flamingo Road Church with campuses in southern Florida
- Craig Groeschel — senior pastor of LifeChurch.tv…and boss of Terry.
- Guy Kawasaki — venture capitalist, author and former Mac evangelist for Apple (as a PC guy, this was a huge stretch for me)
- Penelope Trunk — entrepreneur and columnist for the Boston Globe
I think you’re going to be stretched by these folks and the others that will join them. Thanks to their contributions, you won’t be stuck killing cockroaches.

Let me know if you want me to write something up for the book. I’m sure I was just overlooked? HAhahaahhah! :)

I’m nobody anymore…but I would love to read your book.
