Flamboyant Bloggers

So, many good entries, so little space to share the highlights. At the blogging breakout last Thursday, I challenged those blogging or twittering the session to work in the secret code word. The secret code word was "flamboyant." Here are the winners of the contest:

  • Jeremy wrote: "As many of you know Tony is a flamboyant fellow. So much so that I
summed up his Top 10 style talk in an acronym of the word flamboyant
which also has 10 letters (isn’t that just like the Lord?)." Check out the rest of his winning post.
  • Rhett shared: "Yanni-licious (It’s like Fergalicious, but, well, we all know Tony is a sucker for piano)." Here’s the rest of his winning post.

There were many flamboyant entries. Thanks to everyone who played along.

THAT is funny. I just took one of those quiz thingys that rates the reading level of your blog. Mine is ‘elementary.’ My blog my be ‘elementary’ but I hope I personally can be categorized as flamboyant. ;-P

Thanks for the link love that accompanied the win. Obviously you are used to it, but my stats got lit up today.

In all seriousness, Unleash was amazing. My team came away impressed with the genuine way the volunteers treated us, and with a bigger view of what’s possible. Which is what I was shooting for, a larger perspective.

I read you guys everyday, they didn’t really know who you were, but they were impressed that you didn’t have to bring in “talent” for worship, speaking, breakouts, etc. It was just your church. That was impressive to them.

Thanks for providing it. We’re bringing a ton next year!

Thanks for that flamboyant link there, Tony. More importantly, thanks for Unleash. It was a great day–challenging and encouraging!
