Easter Perryisms

I’ll let Perry share the details about this weekend at NewSpring. It was a big weekend. Lots of folks accepted Christ. Thousands of folks heard about the "Ultimate Fighter" Jesus. The band rocked…and so did the first-ever NewSpring choir.

Here are some of my favorites lines from today’s message…

  • "A lot of people at NewSpring like to shag."
  • "Jesus is a man’s man. He’s the ultimate fighter."
  • Referring to Revelation 19:11-16, "This is my favorite Jesus passage in the Bible."
  • "Heaven is open for business."
  • "I play to win. When Charisse gets Candyland, I’m taking her to the house."
  • "We think we’re good because we know someone worse than us."
  • "Jesus Christ is who makes you right with God."

    Well i was thinking .. when he was telling the story about telling you about the church and shagging .. you didnt really say “do what?” to him did ya ? Cause i was pretty sure that was a southern thing too LOL and he paraphrased!
