Here are a few ministry updates from recent days that may be of interest to you…

  • Interns — We had close to 40 college students apply for 10 positions in our summer internship program. I’m loving all the interest that program is generating. We love interns!
  • Florence Launch Team — Michael met with about 50 people in Florence last week who are interested in helping us launch our Florence campus. He’s also received email messages and phone calls from about 50 other people. We’re looking forward to launching strong in Florence this fall. Watch for Michael’s new blog in the coming days.   • Greenville Open House — NewSpringers and those living in the Greenville area may be interested in joining us at the new Greenville campus location on Saturday, April 19. We’re going to open the facility for tours. Perry will be there. Several of the new campus staff leaders will be there. This will be your chance to get an inside look at the progress of our renovation project. The Greenville campus is located just off of I-385 at the Roper Mountain Road exit. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m.
  • Numbers — It’s been a while since I shared an attendance update. We just concluded our biggest month in NewSpring history. For the year, we’re averaging over 8,000 per weekend. That’s up 10% from this time last year. Honestly, growth has slowed quite a bit because of seating/space limitations on Sunday mornings. We’re obviously planning on attendance to pick up again with the opening of the two new campuses later this year.
