I’m off to Oklahoma City today with Jared to participate in the first MinistryTECH conference. MinistryTECH is a gathering of church IT professionals. I’m presenting the first keynote session tomorrow morning. It should be fun. I’m talking about "Why Techies Scare Me."

Then, next week, it’s off to Seattle with Michael to connect with the crew from The Rock Church in Monroe, Washington. They’re hosting Mitosis 2008 at their church. I’ll be presenting a main session next Saturday, April 12 in the morning and then a workshop on blogging later in the day. I’m really looking forward to participating in the conference, seeing Seattle for the first time and watching Jeff race. You have to admit, it’s pretty cool when you pastor is also a race car driver.

Later in April, I’ll be heading out of town with Perry and the rest of the NewSpring leadership team for a planning retreat. Big stuff is coming. As I twittered yesterday, multi-site changes everything. And, I think this retreat is going to be a significant step towards preparing our team for what’s coming next for NewSpring Church.

In the mean time, I’m planning on being back here on Sunday for the next episode of "The Man Series." I was involved in the planning for Sunday’s service. Let me just confirm–you won’t want to miss it. See you on Sunday.
