<description>I almost always agree with and enjoy the stuff on your blog, but something in many of these almost seems to presume a division between enlightened rulers and ignorant masses.

Without vision, people will define their own vision and the loudest voice will prevail.
(I'd say people are always drawn to vision from somewhere or someone.)

Without strategy, people will do what they're most passionate about whether or not it helps the organization fulfill its mission.
(I'd say good leadership strategy helps people align their God-given passion with a clear vision and organizational mission.)

Without clear communications, people will assume for themselves what's most important.
(I'd say people should decide what's most important and will follow leaders that clearly communicate a vision of what matters and how to participate.)

Without encouragement, people will gravitate to the first person who gives them attention when they need it.
(I'd say people are drawn to people that accept and encourage them, and if you don't do it they'll look elsewhere.)

Without leadership, people will follow the leader they choose or assume they're the leader.
(I'd say people will choose a leader they can follow, and sometimes they might actually be called to lead themselves.)

When there's a void, it always gets filled.
(I couldn't have said that better myself.) :)
