    Yeah, the outside world probably sees us as crazy when we say it. But they saw Jesus as crazy when He said it to. Remember, people stopped following him when He said you must eat my flesh and drink my blood.

    Many Romans did think that the early Christians were cannibals because they had a secret meal where they ate some man’s body and drank his blood. That didn’t stop the Christians. I agree that we should not use “church speak” but how else to explain communion unless we ignore Jesus’ words?

    The early persecuted church was oft accused of cannibalism; but just think, a series on communion called, “Zombies Among Us”; “Grace for the Living Dead” based on Eph. 2; “Eat My Flesh, Drink My Blood–An Invitation from Jesus. Really, it is.” A ministry to goth kids?
