Welcome Updatable.cc to the Team
If you haven’t noticed Updatable.cc has joined the site as a sponsor this month. I’m privileged to have them on the team, because they were the force behind the design and development of my new site.
I worked directly with Scott throughout the process. Here’s what I really appreciated about the transition…
- Scott used Basecamp to guide us through design and development so I knew exactly where we were every step along the way.
- They asked a number of questions up front to get a sense of the design direction that I wanted to take. Because of that, we moved pretty quickly through the design phase.
- The guys were great to work with. They were very responsive and professional.
- As I’ve alluded to, the transition between TypePad and WordPress has been a little rocky, but Scott has helped me deal with the issues that have popped up along the way. (btw… I’m loving WordPress.)
- They helped me with some specific functionality that I wanted to incorporate into the site including advertising, the job board, the Amazon store and a private page for speaking/consulting requests.
- The biggest thing is that we were able to make the transition to the new site with zero downtime.
All that to say, I’m honored to have Updatable.cc as a site sponsor, but I’d also recommend them if you’re looking for a team to help you with your personal or church site.

We’re having Updatable build our church’s website and it’s a great process. They do a good job.
If I were Updatable, I would have Ken Wilson, Chris Dunagan, or Joshua Blankenship do them up a nicer advertisement.
Does Basecamp do a good job in it? I’ve tried it, but had to switch to Wrike.com to get the total visibility of all operations.
