Fourth Campus Launching in Early 2009

Since Perry shared the news in yesterday’s television interview, I guess it’s fair game to offer a little bit about NewSpring’s fourth campus coming in early 2009. We’re still scoping out the specifics, but here’s what I do know:

  • Unlike the first three campuses, this one won’t be located in a building. We’re going to launch an Internet Campus.
  • You’ll be able to participate in live NewSpring services from anywhere in the world with Internet access.
  • We’ll be recruiting an Internet campus pastor to host online environments and help people take steps in their faith journey beyond our Sunday services. (Are you a Web-savvy, social-networking, high-capacity leader who loves Jesus and the NewSpring ministry strategy? Want to help us develop and execute this campus? Shoot me a note, your resume and links to your online world.)
  • Though we know you love watching video from NewSpring services, the Internet campus will look very different. Think live and on-demand. Think soak it in and interact. It won’t just be you and your computer–it’ll be you and thousands of people from throughout the world experiencing teaching, worship, discipleship and community together.

Like I’ve said in recent months, just about everything changes this Sunday. Aren’t you glad you get to be a part of the adventure at NewSpring Church? (And, yes, that includes you.)
