Get Your Strategy On
Here’s my current desktop:
Go ahead. Psychoanalyze me. I’m guessing my desktop says a lot about who I am (or more importantly who I am not).
If you dare, post your desktop and link back here. If I like you and I find space for you in my life (smile), I may post some desktops of my readers.
This should be interesting.

Are we supposed to analyze the couches or that it’s a PC? Just kidding… i’m not really a mac snob… or maybe i am.

Your desktop analysis…
1680×1050, you have a beefy monitor. Safari and Firefox. These point to a large portion of your time on the net.
Windows XP, default scheme; Windows Media Player button…It looks like you use your computer, but aren’t a “hyper-customizer”
B/W background, basic icons…Simplicity and efficiency.
You clearly hate clutter and unnecessary noise. You like to be a trendsetter, and find new ways to do things.
Now I could be wrong…but it looks like you enjoy a blend of ultra-modern rooted in traditional.
I’d love to know what you think.

Just curious, is that a Paint icon in your quick launch? If it is do you really use Paint that often? And if you do that begs another question, why? Are you a secret Paint Ninja? Do you make awesome Paint pictures? If so can we see them?

For a decent free Windows app to take screenshots, try Gadwin PrintScreen. There’s free and pro versions, so download carefully.

Definitely had to post a response to this one. I love my desktop setup.
My analysis of your desktop: you don’t like desktop icons or coffee tables.
Here’s a link to my post in reply.

ACS? Thought you would have something more high-tech than that. Not a fan of it! Dang… I have 54 desktop icons here on my personal computer. Would show, but oh would that tell.

I have been using screenprint32 for years, it is free and allows you to select exactly what you want to capture.

Kinda surprised to see the default blue taskbar. I thought it would at least be silver. :)

malachi, we only use ACS for financials. all other ministry tracking (including contributions processing) happens in FellowshipOne. Since F1 is all web-based, the bookmarks are set up in firefox and not on my desktop.

This is a picture of my desktop. It is the Boston skyline. I am moving there in probably a year and a half to two years to help start a church. I have that picture on there to remind me every time I open my laptop that God is about to turn that hurting city upside down. It pumps me up every time too. Just thought I would share.
I wonder if you are actually going to look at all of these….if you would like to prove me wrong…please, check my blog out….leave a comment.
