Multi-site Strategy Revealed

Here’s the deal. My team and I are getting bombarded with questions about multi-site.  We wish we could respond to all of them immediately, but, truthfully, we’re still trying to figure it out as we go. So, here’s where you can start:

  1. Use the “Search” function. My good friends at Updatable.cc designed a search function for my blog. Type “multi-site” in the box and press “Enter.” You’ll find all kinds of posts that I’ve written on the topic in the last several months.
  2. Read this book. Geoff Surratt has compiled a great overview of the multi-site revolution in U.S. churches.
  3. Study these churches. They’ve been doing it a lot longer than us.
  4. Attend the Unleash Conference 2009. It’s literally going to be a multi-site conference. Perry will be in Anderson. I’ll be in Greenville. Perry will be teaching the main sessions live via video, and all of the breakout sessions in Greenville will be focused on multi-site strategy. By April, we will have launched three new campuses. We’ll share what we’ve learned and what we’re still trying to figure out. Registrations will open soon.

In the mean time, continue sending your questions and we’ll try to respond as time allows. Thanks for being patient.

funny you should mention multisite – http://www.EdStetzer.com just wrote a blog post on multi-site strategy/philosophy (based on article from World Magazine http://www.worldmag.com/articles/article.cfm?eid=3689C8A7-D9C3-EF5A-7E526DE1F38D3582)

I’m curious what people’s experience is with it. Some have reservations.
