When I first moved to FL, we stayed a nice oceanside hotel. There was a palmetto bug (as the lady at the counter told me when I called to complain about the cockroach). I stomped down on that thing as hard as I could and stood there for a few seconds, twisting my foot back and forth. I tentatively picked up my foot, worried about the mess on my Sambas...and it ran away. I screamed like a girl! Nothing could have killed that beast. It will shoot a 2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2 inch shell with ease, it comes with a varity of choke tubes for different distances down range. Of course I don't recommend discharging any firearm indoors but you can always get your wife to "shoo" it out into the yard and then open fire, bam, no more roach.
