Anderson Campus Expansion Update
Check this out. It’s a recent picture that shows the entire NewSpring Anderson Campus. The building at the bottom is our original facility. It now forms an L-shaped facility. The top right portion of the building is our new children’s ministry wing that will likely open in February. The other building at the top of the picture is our new student ministry facility that will likely open in January. That building will also ultimately serve as a second venue for Sunday services in Anderson. (More seats on Sunday morning!)
Ken has more pictures here.

wow, that’s great! should be beautiful.
This is a random question, but why is the Student building not parallel with the other buildings? I would think from an aesthetics perspective, you would want all the buildings to square up to each other and the parking lot.
Are you guys going to start having segways to get around during the week? Segways for rent? For parking team? Just a thought…
jeremy, if you are a fan of right angles, you probably wouldn’t like the culture at NewSpring. :-)

Tony,
No, I definitely love the culture of Newspring. I watch your services, learn as much as I can from you guys. I’m bringing 55 peeps to Unleash next year. I was just curious. I didn’t know if there was an engineering reason or land permit reason.
You might say I was just curious.
Thanks
as far as i know, it’s at an angle because we wanted it that way. (btw…that new building rocks!)

Jeremy,
also remember that most people aren’t going to see the buildings from the arial view. so, it’s a different experience when you’re walking from building to building.
and as a former architecture major, often too much parallel and perpendicular stuff can make an area feel static and stale.
Wow! Looking good! If you need any help maintaining all this new space let me know. I would relocate in a heartbeat to be a part of what God is doing in the upstate!
