Google Friend Connect

Just for the fun of it, I’ve added a couple of new Google Friend Connect gadgets on my site. Will you be my new friend? Come and join the gathering. See who else has joined the party.     The slew of online communities makes it seem like overkill, but I think it’s a long overdue application, especially for political blogs, nonprofits and grassroots organizations. Can’t wait to see how things progress here.

    Did you sign up for this ahead of time? I really like the addition and think that this will be the “social” element of Google that actually works vs. Orkut.

    Yes, I signed up earlier. I think I’m part of their initial beta testing.
