There’s only one person I know of that can sing a Mariah Carey song better than Mariah Carey, and that’s RoseAngela. This past Sunday, Rose sang “All I Want for Christmas” in Anderson and we showed it live on the big screen in Greenville. Here’s the video:

Wow. That girl has an amazing voice. I visited NewSpring over a year ago and she sang Hosanna. She killed it and I was blown away. BTW, the unsung hero in this clip is McDzl. He slammed that piano.
I have to admit, I was skeptical…but that was I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E.

Now THAT'S the kind of thing that I want to do at my church! (not me sing but put on productions like that) I think that song actually fits in with our current theme… "Finding Jesus in Unexpected Places". We say that we’re trying to slow down and not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season. This song is saying that she doesn’t care about the Christmas tree… or stockings… “I just want you for my own… more than you could ever know… make my wish come true… all I want for Christmas, is you [Jesus]”. It’s a great tie-in!
