Top Searches of 2008

Yesterday I shared the top sites that sent traffic here, today I thought I’d unveil the top searches of 2008. Here are the top ten searches other than some version of “Tony Morgan” that led people to my site in the last 12 months:

  1. Andy Stanley
  2. Google Task Manager
  3. Steven Furtick
  4. Assistant
  5. NewSpring
  6. Sticks Conference
  7. Craig Groeschel
  8. Perry Noble
  9. Lee McDerment
  10. Hoosier Jokes

Just for the record, I think this list proves that you are a bizarre group of people.

Aside from your own name or your church’s name, what’s the most popular search term that leads people to your site?

    Tony,
I had to go to like 100 entries in Google Analytics to find enough different ones … so, without putting variations of the same searches:
    #1 – fred mckinnon (duh)
    #2 – mike guglielmucci
#3 – palm treo versus blackberry
#4 – how he loves us lyrics
#5 – tyranny of the urgent
    #6 – bad o holy night
#7 – gators wear jean shorts (hahahahahahah)
    #8 – mandisa god speaking
    #9 – steven curtis chapman’s family
    #10 – manual worship leader

    Happy New Year’s Eve, friend!

PS: I twittered Lee last night, they were singing one of his songs live on live.lifechurch.tv – it was way cool, they were in Australia, and did it justice.

Besides a variation of our name and the names of staff members, it is our associated school and various childrens or music ministry activities, ie KidStuf, Singing Christmas Tree, etc.

stuff christians like or some form of that phrase was the biggest, but I got a bunch for Andy Stanley too. I attend NPCC so that might be why. And Jon and Kate plus 8, which had to be a disappointment for folks to search that phrase and get some dumb thing I’ve written about “prayer shotblocking” or other such nonsense.
