Here’s a taste of what Perry shared in the first message of the new series, “No Perfect People Allowed”. I’m guessing some of these quotes will probably generate some conversation.

- “If your view of church revolves around you, get the hell out of here. We don’t have room for hell in this church.”

- “This isn’t feathered-hair Jesus giving people a hug.”
- “I hope you’ll pray for me that I’ll do what God wants me to do.”
- “I’m about life change. I want to see people meet Jesus.”
I couldn’t write fast enough. I missed most of the good stuff. You’ll have to listen to the entire message to catch the rest of the story.
Today was awesome. I was waiting to get offended the whole sermon. He is right on the money. I admire that Perry says what some of us are actually thinking. My life has changed so much because of Jesus. I just came to NewSpring to see my friends play in the band. I never left. That was two and half years ago. I can’t wait for NewSpring to continue to blow peoples minds in the name of Jesus. I love your blog too. And I am honored to be followed on Twitter.

I love it! That is freaking awesome!!! I want Perry’s voice speaking that to be the ringtone on my cell!!!

One thing’s for sure: Perry is a straight-shooter.
