I wish I’da said: I’ll come sweep floors…I’ll come open doors…I’ll sing..speak..or just sit and warm someone’s seat if I need to. I’d love to be a part of what you guys are doing at Newspring. I am multi-talented and will bring a lot of value to whatever team God places me with.

You mentioned that the you are open to the Holy Spirit changing the direction of a service. How does the design team plan for that?

Perry,
I can only imagine that one of your most difficult tasks is shouldering the spiritual wieght of newspring. In a recent message in the Beautiful series, you mentioned Jesus praying all night for the woman caught in adultry. I would agree with you and walked away from the sermon convinced that you probably did the same for the women you would preach that particular sermon to.

Shortly after that sermon I heard a reference to how many people gave their lives to Jesus after that sermon. PRAISE GOD for the salvations!

Would you say that their is a direct connection between God breaking a heart for the lost ( in a specific way), and seeing him change people’s lives? In other words, Jesus had to carry his cross and suffer crucifixion before salvation was at hand.

I absolutely love what God is doing through Perry and Newspring!!!

My questions is this…As a Pastor I am tired and frustrated…tired of all the negativity in the local church and frustrated that people who say they will support and love you to the end eventually turn thier backs on you and shove the knife deep in your back, or front as it were…I am tired of seeing my wife cry on a weekly basis because of these and other isues. At what point do you say eneough is enough and move on? I have been here 5+ years and we have grown, built a new building, changed everything from our name to the entire exterior of the buildings, doubled our staff, doubled our congregation, feed 2500 every month through a food pantry and done great things for the Kingdom, but sometimes the pain and anquish is just too much for my bride. When is enough…enough and when do you make a decision that may negatively affect others but benefits your family? I’ve got more…but that is it for now.

I was intrigued by your comment last Sunday regarding racists in the church and that you would be addressing the issue in the future. Are there specific goals for Newspring to try and overcome the reality that “the most segregated hours in the US are on Sunday morning”?

Here is a question for Perry. I hope that it is worth answering.
For pastors or church planters who work full time jobs, what do you suggest we focus on in order to properly use the very small amount of time that we have, in order to do what we feel we are called to do?
Or. What do you feel is the most critical advice that you could give a pastor or church planter who works a full time job?

Home groups seem to be a struggle for NewSpring, at least you said it was earlier. How do we plan to fix that?

Please explain, the best you can, the ‘internet campus’. I have many many friends that cannot attend one of our campus’ and I would love to introduce them to NewSpring. Perry, you are a great teacher/preacher, I want others to experience that.

My “question”… I just listened to Perry’s message from last Sunday. IT WAS AWESOME!!! But, it tore me up because I have the same vision for the church I planted 7 years ago. But it ain’t happening yet, at least on that scale. The quote Perry read from the guy in Australia especially got to me. Anyway, I keep pressing on but I get discouraged. I sometimes wonder if I am in the right place but God def hasn’t called me anywhere else yet. I would appreciate some advice or encouraging words for myself and other guys like me out there who are in a similar boat.

Hey first I just want to tell Perry thank you so much for following what God put on your heart to do for Him. It has litterally saved my husbands soul and for that I have no words to express my gratitude. Jesus gave you the words to reach him when no one else could.

My question for you is as a new mom what is the biggest and best way I can relate Jesus to my 16 month old?
