NewSpring’s Web Campus on Today’s Live Webcast
We’ve been getting lots of questions about NewSpring’s Web Campus, so later today I will be interviewing Nick Charalambous, our web campus pastor, and Joshua Blankenship, our creative director, on a live webcast. As a preview to that conversation, you may want to check out this overview of the Web Campus and Joshua’s more detailed description of what we’re doing.
You’ll have the opportunity to participate and ask questions during the webcast. It’ll be live. And, as always, it’ll be FREE.
Here are the details:
- Session will start at 2:00-ish EST
- Live video webcast will be on my Mogulus channel.
- Watch my Twitter updates for exact start time.
Feel free to start asking questions by leaving comments on this post. I’ll use your questions to launch the conversation.
Tell your friends to join us. The more the merrier. See you this afternoon.

Three questions:
1. Josh, Did you guys create your own chat box?
2. Pastor Nick, What are your plans to connect people during the week?
3. Tony, Pastor Nick recently blogged about how God is robbed when our stories of life change aren’t shared. What is your strategy for sharing these stories?
Thanks, Tony. Looking forward to the webcast. My questions:
1. Are you recording the service natively in FLV for upload to Light Cast? Using Adobe Flash or a different app to capture it?
2. What licensing is required for webcasting the music?
3. How much time does the tech team have from the end of the 9:15 service to get the video packaged & uploaded to Light Cast?
Thanks again!
Tony – Shout out from Atlanta. Thanks for all the awesome links and information you tweet out! Here are my questions for you and Nick:
1. How do you moderate the chatroom? If you don’t, how did you explain this decision to your staff?
2. Are you going to be using a multi-person video conferencing platform like tokbox to do your small group meetings? If so, what are you going to be using. If not, how do you plan on connecting people in small groups?
Thanks! Keep up the amazing work you all do for the Kingdom!
