Love the new song. I have a tie between Illuminate and A Collision for my favorite Crowder album.

It has got to be A Collision. Probably one of the greatest CD’s of all time. Right behind it is a tie with Remedy and Illuminate.
can’t wait for the new one. Already heard two singles from it and they are amazing.

They’re headlining an album with a song not written by them? Not sure what to think…

The singer keeps saying, “Oh how he loves us”. Who loves us? Is this song about Jesus? I’m confused because it not very clear.

Glad he dropped the sloppy wet kiss. :-)

Kinda reminds me of the SouthPark episode when the kids formed a “Christian” band. To dupe the Christians out of their money, they take secular music and just change words such as “baby” to “Jesus”.

For music to be “Christian” it needs to explicitly be about Christ.

Haha…he did drop the sloppy wet kiss, but I can’t figure out what he’s saying in it’s place.

Wow…favorite album? For church worship I’d say Remedy, but just to listen to I’d say A Collision. They all rock though.

I like what Crowder’s done with the song. Except I’m not a big fan of the lyrical liberties he took on the second verse.

I am with Tyler on this one. I really like DCB but in waiting for a new album I don’t want to hear a cover song for the first single. If it’s on there fine but not when we are expecting some new originals.

I am getting sick of all these bands lately covering other songs, it just seems like we really have a drought of originality for worship songs going on. I realize it is not everyone, but it is a lot.

Ok, I am done complaining, time to go write some music so I can be part of the answer instead of just a critic.

I know this is an old post and all, but I think Illuminate is still my favorite album. There’s not a song on that CD that I don’t like.

    Just my $.02.

I would have to go with “Can You Hear Us.” While I like some of the instrumentals and interludes on “Illuminate” (as well as the uh-mazing rendition of “All Creatures”, I just love how the album flows. “I Need Words” is such a great opener and “Obsession” is probably my favorite song of all time by DCB. Favorite album = Can You Hear Us
