David Crowder Band Giveaway
The David Crowder Band recently released an EP called “Summer Happiness“. It has four stripped-down versions of songs from their “Church Music” album…which is one of my new favorites.
I’m thinking you’ll really have some summer happiness when I tell you that everyone who comments on this post will be entered to win the Summer Happiness digital album, the Church Music CD and an exclusive vinyl of Summer Happiness. Since I’m coming off of summer vacation and feeling particularly generous, one winner will also receive a Church Music vinyl along with the other prizes.
So, just to make things real simple, one contest winner will receive:
- Church Music vinyl
- Church Music CD
- Summer Happiness vinyl
- Summer Happiness digital album
And three more lucky winners will receive:
- Summer Happiness vinyl
- Summer Happiness digital album
- Church Music CD
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post that includes your email address. Feel free to include your best David Crowder impersonation if you’d like. As always…
Play nice.
UPDATE: We’ll keep the comments open until 5:00 pm EDT on Thursday, July 15.
UPDATE: The three winners of the smaller music packages are Jeff S., JC and Jonathan. The grand prize winner is Tim H. Congratulations!

I was once at a YS conference and enjoyed the band leading us in worship. A man held up a sign proclaiming his live of track jackets, to which David said that he felt close to him and would hug the gentleman with the sign uf David didn’t have space issues. I too have space issues.
“I am full of earth, You are heaven’s worth, I am stained with dirt, prone to depravity. You are everything that is bright and clean, the antonym of me, You are divinity.”
Crowder’s best line at a concert when encouraging audience participation: “Less pretty, more loud.”
Hook me up with some Crowder awesomeness! pstohler@fbccanadian.org
Love me some Crowder! jesseb@shmcfamily.org
And I cannot hold it in and Remain composed. Love’s taken over me So I propose the letting myself go. I am letting myself go.

well, I’d sure like to win. cjwebber@mac.com
I have always been a huge fan of David Crowder, but I have been an even bigger fan of summer happiness (in general, not the album (though nothing against the album, i just havent heard more than 30 seconds of from itunes, which I am hoping you can fix for me).
David Crowder rocks! He needs to make another squirrel music video!
Probably my fav DCB album to this date is still “All I Can Say”. I think I’m still a little bitter because when my Jeep got broken into when in college and my CD player and sub were stolen, my DCB “All I Can Say” album was still in the player. Miss that album… but I love me some DCB. (Sign me up for this!)
here’s a comment:
i’d like to comment that i’d like to win this give-away.
here’s my best David Crowder impression:
i’m bearded and my afro’s afro-licious!
David Crowder? Who that is?
No, no, just kidding. I know. I loved when he sang with Stills, Nash, & Young.
Please enter me in the drawing. Crowder, his band and music are great.
I’m wondering if the depth of our comment bears weight on the outcome of our prize potential… just in case: Love Tony & David! :)
It would be most serendipitous for me to win this monumental giveaway.

what the heck! Why not.
Oh the sound of salvation come
The sound of rescued ones
And all this for a king
Angels join to sing
‘All for Christ our King!’
My wife, a new mother to a one month old, is honestly the biggest David Crowder Band Fan,… at least the biggest one who has never had the chance to go to a concert and listen live. She has almost ever album they’ve produced and would be doing the “happy dance” and singing “Everything is Glorious!” if I won this for her. With little money these days with new found doctor bills, getting new CDs, which just makes her happy, is honestly further and far between.
Hope you choose us. squashed39402@yahoo.com

For sure. Send some David Crowder Band music up this way!
Very cool contest. Hope it’s ok to just have the email address in the “Your Email” field.
I like me some DC*B!
We went to see David Crowder in Little Rock several years ago when they were opening for Third Day. Third Day was pretty good, but the David Crowder Band was AWESOME.
Then a couple of years ago, we went to a free screening for the Remedy tour DVD here in Austin and the David Crowder Band showed up by surprise to buy us all popcorn and Dr. Pepper.
We love David and his Church Music CD is the best yet although I did not think it would be possible to top Remedy.

I got David Crowder to autograph The Lime CD when they were at the church I was serving in Cypress, TX. I still love David’s autograph as he draws a picture of himself…well…at least of the hair and the gotee!

Its so fluffy…
Love DCB and thanks for leading worship at Summer in the Sun this year.
I had the honor of being camp photographer one year where the David Crowder band was the house band all week. It was amazing. I was pleased to see that David and his crew were not prima-donnas. They were down to earth and willing to engage with the teens a the PFR Camp.
DCB is one of my favorite bands. Looking forward to seeing them on the upcoming Canadian tour. Oh Happiness!
Crowder is from my hometown in Texarkana & was loving his music before the rest of the world was.
I would love some “Summer Happiness!” Rock on, DCB!! litig8r827@embarqmail.com
I asked David Crowder one time where he got the ending sound clip on “No One Like You”, he told me it was from a strawberry shortcake album!
here’s my email I didn’t add in the previous comment since I had already filled it in the line above.
