Big Day at West Ridge!

It was a historic day at West Ridge Church today. Let me share some of the highlights:

• Today was the 13th anniversary of West Ridge. Really thankful that Brian and Amy were obedient in following God’s calling.
• We launched our second campus today. The West Paulding campus opened with over 400 people attending. That exceeded our planning goal for the launch.
• Even with new campus launching, attendance was way up at the Dallas campus. Our auditorium attendance was almost 30% higher than the same Sunday morning last year.
• We started the “Behind the Music” series today. Brian is teaching through several Psalms and telling the story behind the story. The bands at both campuses are also covering popular songs each week that introduce the theme of the message.
• Today’s service was particularly powerful. Brian taught on Psalm 51 and the story of David and his sin with Bathsheba. (Yes, he used the word “neked”.) The band opened with Hallelujah. Brian talked through how confession and repentance can lead to restoration.

Thank you to the entire team including all the volunteers that helped us launch the new campus. (Thank you to Dave and Steve for leading the charge.) Thank you to everyone along the way that has provided encouragement and coaching as we prepared for today. Thanks for praying for our journey.

You may be surprised by the songs our bands have ready to go, and you will certainly be challenged by the real life issues our teaching team will hit in the coming weeks.
