We’re All Susceptible to These 3 Ruinous Patterns
I recently wrote an article on how leaders are becoming more and more unhealthy. We are more stretched and stressed than ever, which leads us to becoming poor, unhealthy leaders. Whether we find this compromising our morality or the health of our ministry, it is something that needs to be addressed.
It reminded me of a conversation I had wth Eric Geiger a few months ago—a really good one. When we had this conversation, Eric was the Senior Vice-President at Lifeway, but now serves as the Senior Pastor at Mariners Church in Irvine, California.
Back in April, Eric published a book titled, How to Ruin Your Life. He addresses how leaders are imploding their lives with 3 unchecked patterns we are all susceptible to.
I wanted to share this conversation with you, so Eric and I recorded it. Check it out here:
We dive into:
The dangers of being unchallenged as a leader
Why boredom is actually scary
The difference between unholy discontentment and holy discontentment
